Although parking on site is free, you must register at reception every time you visit in order to avoid a hefty fine! See below for how to register your vehicle on arrival.

On foot
Use either the South Road or Quarry Road entrances. The latter is locked up at night, but you can still get access from Quarry Road by walking through the car park of the White Cross Neighbourhood Centre.
Bicycle
There is a covered bike stand at the bottom of the car park, opposite Waterview. See the map above to help you find it.
Bus
Buses stop right outside of the White Cross Business Park on South Road, Lancaster, at the Infirmary bus stop. Walk down towards the canal and turn right into White Cross Street. Then follow the walking instructions above.
Car
If coming by car, use either the South Road entrance (opposite the Royal Lancaster Infirmary) or the Quarry Road entrance and park. Pop in to reception in The Gatehouse WITHIN 20 MINUTES OF ARRIVAL and log your registration at the kiosk to get a visitor’s permit for your vehicle. If challenged by security staff, just say that you are visiting BayShare Library of Things.
Train
If you got off at Lancaster UK train station, you’re at least in the right city. You should walk towards Lancaster town centre and then head towards the hospital (Royal Lancaster Infirmary) at the ‘top’ of town (this is the South end of the city centre, known as the top by some local quirk…). Cross the canal bridge at the top of Penny Street, heading towards the hospital, and turn left immediately into White Cross Street. Head past reception through the tunnel, across the car park, leaving Richmond House to your right, and up the hill to the top entrance of Harpers Mill.
